If a tree is struck by lightening in the forest and there’s no one around to hear it, will it still make good kindling?
In 2007 I began matting this little matboard cut with “Sight”, making a more powerful, interesting statement
Marvin “carved” blocks from matboard as a poor graduate student, and loved the textures that would happen when the ink got onto the inner layers. It also caused him to use a bolder line, forcing him to be less “fussy” with tiny lines, and create a more solid image.
