Passage Through Fire

A posthumously-printed Tarot piece. I finished some of the carving, and then once it was printed my niece Diana and I discussed possible names. It was compelling to try and figure out what it was Marvin was trying to say, and we decided he would almost always go with a positive message. And like Marvin, this traveler had to survive the fire by passing through, not going over or around. If our paths were always comfortable, our steps would be much less conscious.
