Artemis, known in the Latin as Diana, is goddess of the hunt, also the Maiden. Hestia is the goddess of the hearth, or the Mother, and Hestia is the goddess of wisdom, the Crone.
A customer complained once that there weren’t enough female figures in Marvin’s work, so he set his mind to research, and came up with illustrations of several famous and infamous female mythological characters.
