Faust made a deal with the devil, Lucifer, the Angel of Light. This piece was one of a series Marvin did for his graduate thesis exhibit. The originals were framed in deep wooden boxes and were very much more dimensional than the current versions. He realized it’s a lot easier to frame and carry around the illusion of space – and the later versions were very cleverly dimensional just not so deep and heavy.
Originals are sold out, but I have nice, matted reproductions!
