One of the “Comets and Ghosts” series, this piece also evolved over time. The final version is a combination of woodcut and lino cut, and printed using colored inks.
Legend has it Lao Tzu, who wrote the Tao Te Ching, crossed the Himalayans on an ox to bring Taoism to China. Marvin, with his love of combining myths said “what if it was a Blue ox and he made it all the way to Minnesota??”
