Marvin read on average 2 books per week, usually one fiction and one non-fiction. People who came to our house would say “Gee, you have a lot of books, but how many of them have you actually read?” To which he would reply “Well, I haven’t read all of these, but that’s because I’ve replaced the ones I’ve read many times over”.
